Our District, Ruislip Eastcote Northwood (REN) like many other areas in the country has a shortage of Volunteers and as a result some of our Groups are full and unable to take in any more Beavers, Cubs or Scouts.
We are trying to be pro-active and you will see Vacancy Boards in most of the Scout huts, listing some of the things you could help us with and make all the difference.
If you choose to volunteer, you can work directly with young people or in a support role as a team or individual. Prior experience or a connection with Scouting is not necessary and we welcome people from different backgrounds. Remember, you can decide how much or little time you give to Scouting.
